Уран – перспективы сырьевого обеспечения атомной энергии

Аннотация.В работе рассмотрен феномен урана – один из элементов периодической системы, положивший начало становлению новейших отраслей науки и техники от создания атомного оружия массового уничтожения до атомной энергетики. Описаны физические, ядерные и химические свойства элемента урана и его наиболее важные соединения, а также методы добычи, применение в военных и гражданских целях,  перспективы атомной энергетики на уранплутониевом топливном цикле. Казахстан обладает большими запасами урановых месторождений, где при добычи 1,5 млн. т руды 1,3 тонны пригодны для извлечения методом скважинно-подземного выщелачивания. По добыче урана Казахстан стоит на одном из первых мест в мире.
